Vanetec vanes?

Re: Vanetec vanes?

Actually mine were exactly that opposite. They fight really tight in the cawk vane. I had to let the glue completely dry before trying to remove the jig. Otherwise it peeled it off completley. If I let it sit for 20-minutes it came off ok.

I actually shaved it down a little so it would let loose of the vane. I will not take thicker vanes but still doesnt seem to do as well as the Duravanes...

Re: Vanetec vanes?

I am shooting 3 inch vanetech's this year and i like them alot. They are only a minor amount heavier than the blazers i was shooting. These vanes are super stiff and durrable. I really like them alot and my arrows are flying good. My roommate and his dad both shoot them on their finger bows with helical to great success, and my boss shoots them out of his bow too. I dont think you would be dissappointed, but they deff seem to be a little bit thicker so you may have a problem with your jig.

Re: Vanetec vanes?

Jeramie, i shot vantetecs all through 3d season and they were good for me. but i dont like to get locked into 1 type of vane.

each year for all my setups i determine what arrow i want to shoot. then based on what i want that arrow to weigh and how the FOC is, determines on what fletch i shoot.

i think you will like the Vanetecs a lot, they will make good vanes for hunting arrows. 3 inchers are what were on my 3d arrows.

Shoot Strong

Tony
