mossyhorn
Anyone ever used it? I have some that a friend left here last year. It is wild persimmon scent. I have never used it but figure what the hay might as well see if it works.

AdvantageTimberLou
Re: buck snort gel My wife actually used that stuff about 4 years ago, she liked the name and picked up a bottle. Looks more like buck snot! She didn't see any deer lick the log she put it on but I was proud of her for trying something like it on her own!! ThethirdI
Re: buck snort gel I have used several products like it but have had no results. A flavored salt block has kept them coming back to the same spot for several years even after the block is gone. There's one spot that I like to call the crater. They pawed at it for several years and well you guessed it....It looks like a crater. I will be sticking with the flavored blocks.

mossyhorn
Re: buck snort gel Well I used it and didnt see any results. The only thing that came to it was a yellow jacket. I did see a doe that morning but she didnt seem to notice the scent. It did get her to come it some with my grunt call but she caught wind of me. So i guess using it as a cover scent is out of the question.
ODH
Re: buck snort gel I bought about 8 gallons of that Buck Gel stuff when they were clearencing them out last winter. I've put over half of it out by now back at my feeder, and I have 2 big holes were they dig and try to eat it. It was Persimen(sp) and peanut butter.
