My new bow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, sorry. I don't have any photos yet. I'll take some later because I just got up and didn't get home from the bow shop last night until 9pm. But that doesn't mean I can't tell you how wonderful, awesome, sweet this bow is! So after Andy and I stopped to check a field for deer - saw a few nice bucks, not huge but they'd be bigger than any buck I have, we go to the bow shop. Guy was with another customer, had to wait a little, then he brought my bow out. He tells me Hoyt said the draw length was already set at 26", I thought it seemed like a long 26", so did he, but it felt alright. So we set up the bow, and I go to shoot it. He has one of those computerized systems so I shot had a plain target on that. Draw length felt a little long but not bad and holy cow, haven't shot a bow all year, how consistent can I get!? The arrows were hitting in the same area and this bow is fast and super quiet! I was shooting off the string with my Truball Cyclone release- working great, decided to put my ultra-nok XL on, but the bow shop guy thought it might be a littlel long - aka change my hand position. Oh and besides that, my arrows from my old bow were too short! So Andy and I thought great - new arrows to, but it didn't quite make sense. So we put the ultra-nok on, I shoot it. By then some dopy local teenagers come in to shoot, yeah they'd better move out of my way! lol Get this! I shoot the two arrows and they hit almost exactly in the same place on the target! The guys were like "wow, you don't get more consistent than that..." I was like "hee hee, in your face" as I walked down to get my arrows. By the way being computerized, the target shows dots where the arrows hit. Well I decide I was more comfortable shooting off the string so we go to the back and he has to take the string off one end to put on a couple rubber eliminator buttons so my release isn't pinching the arrow or anything and he puts a small metal crimped nock above that. So he puts it together, puts an arrow on, the arrow falls off - too short. Next thing I know he is looking at the cams, Andy says is there another hole? the guy says yeah - Hoyt had set the one cam at 26" and the other cam at 28" so my bow hadn't had the correct draw length! duh! He adjusts it and now my draw length is just right! grin.gif That was nice to know and made theb ow shop guy happy because I think he though I'd end up not liking the draw length before and he'd be paying for this bow. So everyone is happy, but I'm more happy, lol! I can't tell you what a dream I am in. Deer season couldn't come any slower, lol. I never shot more consisten in my almost 6 years of bow hunting! Ok, this has been a long post on a new bow, lol, but I had to share it. I'll get some photos up later - I promise grin.gif Oh yeah, and with my new bow came a package with a hat, key chain, dvd, bow catalog, instruction book, and Hoyt sticker and warranty - very nice bonus grin.gif
