BowJoe
Just heard it on the Sean Hannity show that Target too will start offering generic drugs for $4 as well as Walmart. I think the start date for one or the other is October 3rd.
Jeramie
Re: Target to join Walmart in cheap drugs! Wow! Man that will help a lot of people. "Drugs" are way to expensive. My Allegra D is crazy high, even with insurance. Whats really funny is my wife sales a lot of the same prescriptions for far less then you can buy it at a pharmacy. Its the exact same meds but is given to animals....

I rank pharmaceutical companies right up there with liberals, lawyers and liars.

clayman
Re: Target to join Walmart in cheap drugs! Wal-Mart drug plan less than meets eye $4 price for generics sounds good, but cut's overall effect is small BY JULIE FORSTER Pioneer Press At first blush, retail giant Wal-Mart's plan to cut the cost of generic drugs sold at its pharmacies sounds like a great deal for consumers. The move puts pressure on all drug retailers to lower their prices, too. However, the move may have little, if any, effect on the price consumers pay for their prescriptions. That's because most of the generics on Wal-Mart's discounted list either are not the most widely prescribed or already are heavily discounted by many health insurers. Read the rest here. wtnhunt
Re: Target to join Walmart in cheap drugs! Saw that on the news either Thursday or Friday. Hopefully some of the savings the insurance companies will be catching here will end up getting to the consumers, but I doubt it.
