This morning three of us were spread out along a marsh shoreline and within the first 45 minutes we had 4 wood ducks with bands. As you might figure they were all young of the year. I've shot several banded geese and one with a neck collar. But I've never shot more than one on any given day. I was with a buddy last year that pulled the trigger three times and dropped three geese, all had bands. In the same flock, two other guys dropped a bird each with a band. [/ QUOTE ] We get two as well, but as I stated above, it was three of us that shot the four woodies. I got one, my brother two, and my friend one. Our early season just ended tonight and it was very good for us. Since Saturday we (from 1 to 6 people per day) got 5 woodies, 2 mallards, 2 shovelers, 19 blue-wings, and 10 green-wing teal.
