Well a group of us decided to go do some salmon fishing. The weather was beautiful. ish were every where in the river, between 5 of us we LANDED about 50-60 fish shocked.gif. We threw all but 4 back because they were just not fresh. Just by myself i had hooked and fought about 30-40 fish and landed about 10-12.

My first fish of the day! grin.gif

Re: Salmon Fishing Pics!

You say you threw them back because they were not "fresh". I have never been salmon fishing. Can you fill me in on what you mean. Around here if it comes out of the water it's fresh till it's ate.

When the salmon come in the river to spawn they die, so the longer they have been in the river they start to deteriate (sp?). Their scales start to fall off and the longer they are in the river the worse it is. I hope that helps smile.gif.
