I have been hunting hard for a big buck all year but tonight i decided to set my sights on a big doe well it turned out being a great night. I saw this deer abot 150 yards away and he stared to come in. He was walking right to my stand. I pulled back when he was behind a bush at 7 yards. He came out at about 5 yards walking i tryed to stop him with 2 grunts but he troded off and all i saw was his butf for another 10 seconds. he started to turn slowly at 19 yards so i didn't let down my bow. i held my bow for a minute. I had a quartering away shot so i took it. I hit too far back but i saw the arrow go completly though the deer!! ONLY 55lb pull. I have white feathes and white cresting and when the arrow came out and stuck in the ground the white turned to brilliant bright red i knew i got liver and maybe a lung. I was very excited and didn't see exactly where he went. i gave him some time because of the shot. 2 hours later i went to go look for him. i pulled the arrow out of the ground and it was FULL of blood. I followed a good blood trail for about 80 yards and then found a huge hemmerage. I took my flashlight and looked up. i saw a body and half a rack sticking up from the ground 25 yards away i ran right to him. After feild dressing i found out i destroyed the liver an a lung with my MUZZY 100 3BLADE. i dragged him back and took some pics. I will get them posted tomarrow. The buck is a giant 10 point, three grown tines and a point boken off from fighting. it weighs 151lbs feild dressed. the best part i can use my carbon epic arrow again. (and seeing you're from IL, I would bet he is a monster. ) I would save that arrow and put it in his rack once you get the mount back! Buy the way the deer is real big maybe 135" class or bigger deer.
