Tetro
Re: Team 9 Nice. Congrats. I've only seen, what seem to be a buck, right at dark as we were leaving the field. Try several calls he pretty much ignore the racket. But at least I know he there. Rifle starts in a week in a half. Hopefully he sticks around for then. arrow32
Re: Team 9 Thats a great buck. I went out tonight saw alot of does couldnt get any shots. Had a real good 6pt about 70 yards away he was rubbing on some trees and stuff put up a real good show. I grunted and he stopped walking and looked my way but never came my way. Oh well it goes that way.

HitRmisS
Re: Team 9 I showed my hunting buddy this pic, and he said the good buck he's been seeing on our ground is at least as big as this one if not more so I have 5 days of bow season left before he takes after him with the rifle, hopefully I can get him
arrow32
Re: Team 9 Good luck man. I was out tonight and didnt have any luck. Pulled in and there was 4 does and i snuck out out of the truck and grabbed my bow. I tried to do a little stock but by the time i had my release on they had walked down over the hill. So i just got changed and went to my stand. No luck. Ill be in a different stand tomorrow morning trying to get one.

tedicast
Re: Team 9 I haven't been out since 10/19. On the way into my stand that morning, my back started hurting. After sitting in the stand for 12 hours, I was in agony. I had a heck of a walk out, about a mile and half, mostly uphill. My back is still not 100%, and I haven't dared try to get in a treestand. Hopefully I can get out a couple mornings this week for some short sits before work. I really want to get into my honeyhole next saturday, as the rut should be firing up. I'm jusy not sure my back is going to allow me to hike in.
DSGB
Re: Team 9 I've been seeing deer just about every time out, but haven't gotten a shot. I had a buck come within 60 yards yesterday morning, but he was in some thick stuff and never came any closer. Couldn't really tell what it was, but it looked like a young eight pointer. I'm gonna start hunting my grandfather's land next week, hopefully I'll have better luck than I've had on public land. Got a couple more weeks left before gun season starts over in Alabama, but I'll be out there with my bow.

buckee
Re: Team 9 Went out and did a mid-day still-hunt today. I don't ussually shoot spikers, but I managed to get the skunk off the table. This guy was a gift from above I think. He stepped out at about 15 yrds and wouldn't leave, so now he's food..LOL Took him with bow Looks like you can mark us down for another 7 points. Bownarow
Re: Team 9 No luck for me yet guys. All I have been seeing is does, fawns and small bucks. Nothing worth while quite yet. I had a couple fork horns come in on my last week and pushed each other around for a while. Then on Saturday a basket rack 9-pointer came right to my tree and started sniffing around. He milled around w/i 20 yds of my stand then for a good hour. I've got some good setups just haven't had one of the big boys stroll by yet. FYI. I have seen my avatar buck twice so far this year but haven't been able to get setup in the right spot yet. The closest I have gotten is about 60yds. I also spotted a 200"+ buck in the field one night after I was leaving in my truck. I think I am close, but just haven't been in the right spot at the right time just yet.
