Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Team 18 Mike here, just checking in. Archery season opens this Saturday. I've been running a couple of trailcams since Sept 1 and I'm not seeing the quality I had hoped for. I usually have 2 or 3 "book" bucks running around on the ranch I hunt, but the biggest I've seen this year is about 130 or so. I don't know where all of the 140 class bucks I videoed last season went, but I'm definitely going to spend plenty of time in the woods regardless. Hopefully they'll show up sooner or later. Good luck everyone! Team name - what ever y'all decide on is fine with me.
Ambuscher
Re: Team 18 Just checkin in, Frank here. Thayer
Re: Team 18 Backstrap Fever is good! I travel down to Cape every now and then...I have some family in Perryville and plan to hunt a couple different spots there too. I took a 150" 10 point last year and I have a minimum of a 8 point 130" or a 10 point 140" for my own standards.... The area in NE MO has had lots of rain and the crops and food plots were outstanding...I would not be surprised if a 160" was taken from our area...maybe two. But Missouri doesn't have any big deer...stay away! Unless you are a member of Backstrap Fever!
brad dryden
Re: Team 18 Our season starts this saturday Oct. 1 but its suppose to rain and I usually dont go when its raining so hofully their is a break in the weather. WaCoyote
Re: Team 18 We're missing two guys. Where are they? Hopefully hunting. Hope they didn't forget us. My team last year lost by 1 point because two guys "forgot" to take pics. Sounds like you guys are a little more interested sofar though. I've got 2 1/2 weeks how long for you all? But the most important question of all....How thick are you going to cut those backstraps. OOOOH BABY! I can't wait!!!!!

WaCoyote
Re: Team 18 I can't gurantee a buck this year as I drew a doe tag. I can shoot one or the other but plan on taking a doe with a pistol this tear. I'll be packing the ol 30-06 in case I do see a buck but they changed the hunting season around quite a bit this year and it's not looking great as far as points go. By the looks of it you guys will be able to pick up my slack though.
