pointing_dogs_rule
Re: Team 20 Hi guys!!! Just a up-date: I usually bow hunt in Wyoming in early Sept. Well this year they found a tumor on my colon and had to remove 1 1/2 feet on Thursday Sept. 14th. I am out of the hospital and recovering slowly. My muzzleloader season starts Oct. 14 - 22 here in Iowa. I should be able to get out there by that time. I will take a huntin' buddy along just in case something should happen. Doc says I can not lift anything over 10 pounds til Nov. 1st. I will start bowhunting Nov. 1st here in Iowa ... til Dec 1st (and I still have the chance to go to Wyoming to fill my rifle tag the first week in November). Just to let you guys know: I am from Iowa and will only shoot stuff that hangs on the wall. Don't worry I will take a doe every year for the meat. I usually have 1 - 2 chances at wallhangers every season so let's hope this season goes as well. I will try and keep you all informed on my hunting sucess and health. Can not wait to meet the rest of you all. I have met some really NICE people on these "contest teams"!! Good luck to all and God bless the dog

slugshooter
Re: Team 20 Howdy Ho fellow teammates. I'm gonna do my best to get one on the board this year after getting a goose egg last year. Not sure how much I'll be able to get out this year. As much as possible I hope. Let me just say that we are all counting on Andrea (huntin_girl) to carry the weight of the team.

And this year promises to be a good year for Florida. Last year the hurricanes really screwed up the hunting. Had pushed all the deer to the north. But have already seen plenty of good bucks this year!!! As far as a name for us.............I have no idea. I'm the only female here..............we could go with "Andrea's Boys"......LOL. I dunno..............any suggestions????
Bushman
Re: Team 20 Good day from the Great White North. Just spent the last week getting my gear ready for Oct. 2nd opener. Seen some great bucks that should help out our score...if only they would run in front of my bullet! lol. Good luck to everybody.
Straight Shooter
Re: Team 20 PDR best of luck to you and a speedy recovery! Hello my fellow and fellow-et teammates. Looks like we've got some great people on this team. I've all ready got us on the board, I took five deer opening week of the season here in NC. I'll get the pictures posted as soon as I can, the buck is a small three point but it's astep in the right direction. Good luck to all of you and be safe out there. Washi
Re: Team 20 Good luck everybody. I've seen a few deer but I'm sure I'll see more once they get all the corn out around here. The deer really just hide out in the corn early season.
