Bushman Posted November 9, 2006 Report Share Posted November 9, 2006 Re: Team 20 Went out tonight to my stand and now I know the reason my bales are getting tore up...had 5 bucks and 12 does in an hour and 15 minutes. One buck was a great 4 point that would probably score 140 and the other was a respectable 5 point that would gross 150ish. There was one other buck that was dark and heavy but I only caught a glimpse of him as he didn't come all the way in. Great start to a weekend of hunting, next time I'll take the camera to get some footage for you guys and gals! Happy Hunting. Bushman. I got a nice 8 point (110-115ish inches) on the last hour of the last day of our hunt. I also got another Doe, but I've all ready got points for that one. Bushman Posted November 19, 2006 Report Share Posted November 19, 2006 Re: Team 20 Saskman and I went out for a sit at my stand in the forest on Friday morining and was it ever entertaining. We saw 8 different bucks ranging from spikes to a 140ish deer with two stickers. Saskman was itching to put one in him but he let him walk. Some of the smaller bucks were chasing does and two of the bigger guys had a quick sparring session. Great day. I also got some pictures using Saskman's trailcam that I'll get him to post early this week. Great weekend...how's everyone else doing? I had to stop on the trail because a very nice buck came out of the bush...just couldn't tell if he was the one I am after. Would have scored in the 150's but I think there's a larger one out there. Haven't seen him yet. lol. Heading back out on Saturday with Saskman where we should be loading the quad with some venison! Stay tuned. Got busted by some kid who decided to do some scouting at the crack of dawn though. Not too happy about that!!!! The temps are starting to fall here though and the rut will kick in in mid December. I know I've been kinda quiet in here as of late, but with work and school and everything else going on I haven't had a chance to get out in the woods yet. Hopefully that will all change Thursday, I'm off work, I'm off school, it's my birthday, and it's Thanksgiving day. I am due for a deer since I didn't take one last year. Hopefully this freak storm here in NC will be over by Thursday. weather.com says the rain is supposed to stop around 3am Thursday, which means the deer should be up for some excercise by the time the sun comes up after being hunkered down by this storm for 2 days.
