ricfirefighter Posted September 24, 2006 Report Share Posted September 24, 2006 got out today been raining for last couple of days. spotted 2 nice muley bucks just after day light stalked them for about a mile. ended up stalking a little to good came over a draw were we thought they were and what do ya know they jumped up about 20 yrds from us no shots. had 4 or 5 20-30 yrd shots at does but didn't take them. we tried another stalk on a small herd we seen about a mile out. had a nice 3x3 jump up right under us at about 10 yrds. that what we get for paying so much attention to the ones we seen. we seen muley's, white tail, grouse, jack rabbits, cotton tail's, antelope, buffalo, turkey's, all in the area we hunt. no shots takin but a great day in the field with a great friend. what more can a guy ask for.
