Killed 7 deer and missed a 12 point at 3 yards. Muzzleloader.......Long story. Biggest was 7 point........should have been a 10 but had 3 points broken off. Guest luckyman4
Re: How long, how many, and the biggest... I started bowhunting at 14, and gun hunting at 16, that's 17 years now. Took me a LONG time to get settled down enough to be an effective hunter, but in the last 6 years, I've been very fortunate is all I can say. That's also how long I've been using strict scent control, planting foodplots, and really working year-round at deer hunting, I don't think that's a coincidence. My biggest buck so far was a 190# 8-point on Veterans Day 2 years ago. The most memorable hunt is probably my first buck, a spike horn that took me 9 years to finally get. Another memorable one was a MONSTER buck that I missed 3 times at 50 yards when I was still in Highschool.
