NiteRunner Posted September 25, 2006 Report Share Posted September 25, 2006 I've been messing with the little sonic that they sent me, but I just can't seem to get the tips to touch together at the top. American Broadhead Company is aware of the problem and will send you a new one. The head that you got are the ones that have been getting bad reviews. They will bend and the blades may fall out if you shoot it into something tough. Go to the website and shoot them an email. I think they will send you a new one. I think I've spoiled myself with the Montec G5's that I now shoot. No more piecing together. Thank God for solid one-piece broadheads! The center piece on it is a copper/bronze color like the Sonic Pro 100's I saw at the store instead of black like the regular sonics. The blades are the 7/8" cutting diameter ones though, so not sure if I got the wrong center part or not. I'll have to weigh the broadhead to make sure it's still a 100-grain. I am impressed with the sharpness of those little sonics and the ability to plow through targets, just not ready to take the Montecs out of the quiver and put the Sonics on. Sonic seems to be the "broadhead o' the month" I've switched before for the "next best thing" and always come back to Muzzy. I'll just stay there this time and save a little cash.
