Like most everyone else here, I find that picking just the single best one is near impossible. So I will also waffle into categories: Best Big Game - MOOSE, followed closely by elk, pronghorn, and cougar; further back by whitetails; then everything else is in the dust (I've also had mule deer, caribou, black bear, grizzly, bighorn sheep, and mountain goat). I somedays would die for a deer steak the next for a huge 3lb t-bone steak. I would have to say I love all meat exept for the white meat on a chicken!My fav bird is the hungarian partridge by far.
