Re: Tattoo suggestions?

Well, you could have them write....

In about 20 years when I am fat and old, I am going to feel like such a stinking DORK! laugh.gif

My suggestion is to cooler it for about 3 weeks and then if you still want to, then do it.

If I were going to get one, it would be the Browning buckmark without the word 'browning'.

Re: Tattoo suggestions?

If you're planning on getting one in a few hours and havn't made up your mind yet, and your asking for suggestions, I would wait. I've got a tatoo on my right arm, but it was well thought out and is meaningful. There's nothing worse than getting a tatoo just for the heck of it and then regretting what you got. I'd wait until you came up with something on your own, something that has some meaning to you.

Re: Tattoo suggestions?

hey no offense to you guys who wanna bash tatoos, but I didn't ask for your opinion about tatoos...if you don't like them, then keep it to yourself....as for those who gave your suggestions thanks! I have wanted one for a year, and since it's legal now I am going to get one. I have wanted either a lightning band, or a barbed wire band, but I was just curious as what anyone else might suggest. Thanks guys....and to those who disagree, I don't mean to come off rude or **** a butthead, but I didn't ask for a lecture on tats wink.gif I asked for suggestions!

My suggestion is not to get one. I made the mistake twice and now I live with it. But younger people know better so whatever you decide is up to you and something that you will be temporarily happy with.

Re: Tattoo suggestions?

Well, like it or not, you are going to get the dissenting opinion.

There are some here that have them and are telling you not to do it.

Instead of being a semi-jerkweed about it, you might want to say "Hey, thanks for the opinions but I really have thought long and hard about it and really want one".

We wouldn't be your cyber buddies if we let you do something that a bulk of the people who have done it regret.

Now go on and do something you will likely regret later. My opinion is...since you asked.....that something like a small buckmark that can be hidden would be best. Why? Because there may be times when tattoos aren't appropriate or cool and you may regret it. Having two arm bands around each arm might just be something that becomes very embarrassing. You aren't going to be 18 forever.....someday you will be fat and 40 and then frankly those arm bands are going to look freaking rediculous....IMHO.

But if you won't listen to reason, best of luck.

I think Jonny Ringo in Tombstone said it best "Eventus stultorum magister". Best of luck, bud.

Re: Tattoo suggestions?

I have one and I love it. It means a lot to me and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I say go for it, but instead of geting the sterotypical barbed wire I would say throw something i that makes it unique and your own. I wanna see a pic when you get it, let me know how it goes.. cool.gif
