Guest Rolngthun
Buddy brought me to an indoor shooting range. The targets were eye level. I had the hardest time bringing my bow up that high to shoot. It just felt awkward as heck. All my life I have been shooting downward. Either out of an elevated stand. Or into a short target like the Block on flat ground.
Bowhntr
Re: I can only shoot downward The line from your arm and through your shoulders should never change. Just remember to bend at the waist when shooting from elevated positions.

I have a rapid slope in my back yard that I shoot from to simulate some of the drop, but I didn't know this bit of technique. I will try this tomorrow. Thanks for sharing. DowninWhiteys
Re: I can only shoot downward Don't worry about not knowing. Whether it's your first year or twentieth, you will always learn something new. I know I do.
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: I can only shoot downward Something new is worth trying as you never know what the woods will bring and what the shot will be! Hope you enjoyed the challenge!
