WIDeer4Life
As some of you may now I broke my right wrist a while back and now have a cast on it. Well, unfortunately it's starting to smell "not so good" and im worried deer may smell me because of it. I have scent lok gloves but unfortunately they will not fit over my cast. I also have a scent lok shirt that reaches to my wrist but stops there. Anyone out there ever been through this and have any tips for me to keep the scent down as much as possible? Any help would be awesome, thanks in advance! Kyle

VTbowman
Re: My cast stinks, what do I do? Seriously, maybe a plastic bag and some tape to cover it up 100%. (???) Just a thought.

Just a thought. [/ QUOTE ] Thats what I did when I broke my hand a few years back. Thats about all you can do. Plus a bag is a good thing to have anyways incase it rains while your out there. You dont want to get that cast too wet.

WIDeer4Life
Re: My cast stinks, what do I do? haha im with you guys and the cutting it off part...sucky part is, is that i need it for another 2 months then still might need to have surgery done on it we'll see though. it's also my release hand so i dont know if a plastic bag would get in the way or not of me releasing my trigger. im thinking of getting an oversized rubber glove and putting that over it. thanks for the advice though! Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Re: My cast stinks, what do I do? take one of those brown ace bangages...throw it in the dryer with a couple fresh earth dryer sheets...then wrap it around your cast from top to bottom, then pin a fresh earth wafer to it...maybe even put the dryer sheets you use under the bandage when you wrap it up or stuff them in the cast like GW mentioned before wrapping it up
