Tony
put new sight pins in my Spot Hogg hunting sight. i took the old .029 pins out and put in brand new .019s. man them pins are bright. i never thought i could see .019 pins very well until i saw these. heres a pic [image][/image] its actually nice to not have most of the pin covering up my target when i shoot now. sure didnt take long to dial them in either. heres my first shot at 60 yards with a broadhead. i would say its on.. Guest Finn
Re: 3 days before the season and I....( pics) Dang, Tony...that's a great shot. Where'd you pick up the new smaller pins? I'd like to get one for my 35 yard pin on my Dead Nuts Hunter.
Rhino
Re: 3 days before the season and I....( pics) I like the .019 pins for the same reason Tony but I'll just settle for 3 pins instead of 5. Perfect shot with the 60 yard pin. You keep that up and they'll make you shoot with a blind fold next summer in OK.

Guest Mudshack
Re: 3 days before the season and I....( pics) 60 yard first shot.....with a broadhead....in a residential community........come on, you are not fooling us. I do like the look of the spot hog. Had the .19 pins in the Trophy Ridge and they were not bright enough at Noon!! I will have to look into the .19 pins on the spott hog. Looking at your pic makes me think of pcarchery.com
Guest HoytShooter8
Re: 3 days before the season and I....( pics) You da man Tony, that's one dead deer. I know that you only have a few days before your season opens, good luck, and good shooting.

[/ QUOTE ] Don't look very residential to me? Guess if you have a garage/shed and a barn you have yourself a lil community. Good shooting Tony! CDubWSR
Re: 3 days before the season and I....( pics) Well for those of us that have had the pleasure to shoot with Tony we all know he isnt trying to fool anybody. I think what he meant is that after getting all his pins dialed in with field points he then started shooting those distances with broadheads and this was the first shot he took once he got back to 60. Good shootin brother...

Tony
Re: 3 days before the season and I....( pics) a few answers for ya all. it was my frst shot at 60 yards. i had sighted in all my pins from 20 to 50 yards, then just kind of eyeballed where the 60 pin should be. first shot was a good one , the second and third and the other 6 afterwards were just as good. the place im shooting is a little known public hunting place that has a picnic area and shelter. there is only one way in and i was the only one there. so im not shooting towards houses.. while i do shoot at 50 and 60 for practice, i probably wouldnt take a shot that far in a hunting situation. 45 yards is my max this year.
