MUDRUNNER
Re: \"Treestandbowhunter offical 2006/7 NHL thread\" I must say VH,your Bruins are doing surprisingly well.I didn't think Thomas had it in him. We'll ,the Blues have won 2 in a row...they beat the Penguins and the Kings, and lost to Nashville the 2 previous games, but did manage to get 1 point from both of those games.Andy Murray has really lit a fire under their butts, and they finally look like an NHL team. After his first game he gave a couple of guys from the first and second lines healthy scratches, and since then they've really stepped up their play.I doubt they make the playoffs this year, but they could really be spoilers for a few teams. MUDRUNNER
Re: \"Treestandbowhunter offical 2006/7 NHL thread\" The Blues beat Buffalo the other night in o.t.They played a great game, and that makes three in a row,and 5 straight games with a point.Looks like Andy Murray has turned this team around. As for predictions, boy was I way off base...I picked Calgary.

MUDRUNNER
Re: \"Treestandbowhunter offical 2006/7 NHL thread\" I was surprised to see Belarus beat Finland.I think the Blues have 6 draft picks playing in the WJC.I wish the games were televised around here. My Blue notes lost to Nashville again in a shoot out,but at least they picked up a point. The schedule is ridiculous, they actually play the Preds 8 times this season. superguide
Re: \"Treestandbowhunter offical 2006/7 NHL thread\" The World Jr's are awesome to watch-I think there's 4 guys up in the show that are still eligible to play for Team Canada-some kid named Crosby or whatever supposedly would help us out lol. deer huntin k-man
Re: \"Treestandbowhunter offical 2006/7 NHL thread\" Thomas sure has been playing great lately. I can only hope that he keeps it up for the rest of the season. The B's realy need to find a reliable back up for him. He is getting alot of playing time. It was great to see that he was named the NHL's first star for the week ending Dec. 24. He is the reason Boston finaly has a chance to climb out of last in their division. Im rooting for Boston to keep winning games but not getting my hopes up.
VermontHunter
Re: \"Treestandbowhunter offical 2006/7 NHL thread\" It doesn't look as if tho Boston is very interested in a good backup for Thomas,, so thier chance of making it through the playoffs is very small.... Which is too bad too, because they have a tean that can take it all...
deer huntin k-man
Re: \"Treestandbowhunter offical 2006/7 NHL thread\" Yeah it is to bad. They havent had a team with this much potential in a very long time. I will keep hoping that by some miracle Thomas has one of the greatest seasons ever by a goaltender as it is the the deciding factor on how their season will end. Hannu just ist going to cut it as a goalie in Boston,, but Thomas needed the night off... On to Toronto,,,,
