Not to sidetrack this thread but how do the AH inlines compare with say the TC Omegas or other manufacturers. I have only shot percussion rifles but have been considering the purchase of an in line....looks like the time is right if these rifles compare well.

Re: Austin Halleck going out of Business!

I guess that's a risk I'm willing to take. Also, according to their site they will continue to supply their customers with parts as long as the parts hold out. Realize that might not be too long. From what I've seen of their products they are very well made weapons - a little on the heavy side. I heard they used to have problems with ignition when they were using #11s but I believe they all come equipped to use 209s now. This is a copy of what was sent to me in a email from AH.

At this point, we have some of just about everything.

Unless otherwise indicated, everything we are offering

is of a first (vs. second) "new in box" condition.

Packages will not include the bullet packs and 420s

will not be accompanied by a black synthetic stock.

All other tools and documentation will be included. The 694 lever action did not reach production and is not available

All items are being offered at MSRP less 50% + shipping ($15/gun, $5 for accessories only). Sales will be made to credit cards only; cards will not be charged until product is shipped. The website shopping cart has been disabled; orders should be placed in an email to this address or by phone

to my office at 610-940-1668. Inquiries should identify specific part numbers (see www.austinhalleck.com; product pages are still available for viewing). You will be notified on out-of-stock items you may specify. We expect to ship on orders within 10 days of receipt.

What do you fellers intend to do if and when you need warranty service? I wouldn't be so inclined to buy something that couldn't be serviced by the factory if need be.

Make the part I need to get it going again. I can make just about anything that it could possibly have go bad. cool.gif

I am planning to get a 420 hand select.

Re: Austin Halleck going out of Business!

I received my 420 Classic Fancy the other day and it looks great, can't wait to get out to shoot it. When I ordered it they said it wouldn't come with the extra synthetic stock so it was a nice surprise to me that one in fact did come along with the wood stock. I'll let you know how I do with it in MN when I'm there for the ml season the end of Nov
