MUDRUNNER
Re: Bowtech Extreme vft I shoot a Liberty and it's a sweet bow.Never shot the Extreme though.I've heard a few people have limb problems, but that is with any bow company.I've had my Liberty for 2 years without any problems at all. magnatecsteve
Re: Bowtech Extreme vft Huh, I haven't heard of any guys having trouble with limbs on a Bowtech. I have heard thay are great bows though. I see the culver in your login name, are you from Culver IN?
Leo
Re: Bowtech Extreme vft That's got one of Bowtechs "Post Solo Cams" on it They are smoking fast. The brace height on that bow is pretty short. An STS helps alot.
Buckslayer
Re: Bowtech Extreme vft Since 2003 I've been shooting an 03 Ex VFT. I like it, but am considering, finally, of getting something more forgiving. Its hard cause I love the bow, and yes she screams (333 IBO)! But brace height is 6 5/8 inches... I hit my coat sometimes, so practice and good form is so important if you want to be accurate with it hunting. Its a light - weight bow, which balances nice. I don't like how the back wall is really small. If I creep a little bit, it catches like right now and throws my whole form off... Don't get me wrong, its a solid back wall, and great smooth draw cycle though. Just beware of creeping out of your anchor point the tiniest bit! I have easily 15000 shots out of mine, and the limbs are great. I just put a new winners choice custom string on last year. Paper tuning it was a pain for me, but once I got it, it shoots darts - broadheads and field points.
