huntaholic Posted September 28, 2006 Report Share Posted September 28, 2006 Went outside with my little sis yesterday to play on the swingset and there were 2 rabbits on the edge of the woods. Ran inside, grabed the shotgun and gotem both at 50yds with the 12ga. They were about 5feet apart when I shotem. Shot one, the other just sat there and got him too! I've never had rabbit and the only one I ever shot was so covered with flees that I left it lay. Rabbit hunting is just not done much out here. What kind of rabbits are those? I keep threatening to get a Gamo 1000 FPS pellet rifle for the squirels and cottontails in my yard. Might have to resort to snares though to keep the neighbors from getting to uppity about it.
