Guest benelli_man_84
Re: benelli nova?? I love my nova. I have not killed a turkey yet, but I never saw one either. I shoot a mad max turkey choke out of mine using Remington hevi shot 3 1/2 in chers with #5 shot, and at 75 yards i Still have 10-15 pellets in the kill zone. It will do some damage on a turkey and is a dang good gun. Careful though, the recoil can be painful if you are sitting up against a tree. Strut_Buster
Re: benelli nova?? Benelli Nova is the best shotgun on the market today IMO. easy to clean. great shooting. and true to point.

Palssonater
Re: benelli nova?? Nova shot a lot of birds this year. I don't think you would need to spring for the recoil reducer if you are primarily hunting turkey with it. Geese on the other hand....man I wish I had it this fall! Had some perty bruises! Guest cyberhoyt
Re: benelli nova?? Slugshooter said it right "Get the recoil reducer", but it is the best pump shotgun I have ever owned! I use mine exclusivly for Turkey Hunting. This gear I am thinking of getting a Red Dot scope, and givin it a whirl! All, and all it is a great shotgun. I'd buy another if I had the Money! johnf
Re: benelli nova?? I've got one and really like it. My only gripe is that the camo comes off a lot easier than I wish and find myself trying not to touch anything with the gun. If you want a good utilty gun buy black. The camo is very pretty. Strut10
Re: benelli nova?? I don't own one. But I have shot them. I don't care for the gun. It feels too "tinny" and cheap to me. The ones i have fired shot O.K. But for my money, I'd pick a Remington 870 over the Nova any day. Right now the 870 is $199 (after the rebate) at Dick's. Dunno if you have a Dick's Sporting Goods near you or not. There's one in Lee's Summit, two in K.C. and one in Independence.

[/ QUOTE ] Ahh, someone else is having this problem, I have noticed my camo rubbing off also, and not just where the slide touches the action, it is rubbing off on the top of the action, I find myself not trying to touch more on the gun than I have to, but I do love that Advantage Timber on there.
