stevebeilgard Posted October 1, 2006 Report Share Posted October 1, 2006 Re: ...ah boy are you SURE you can skin grizz??? sounds a bit fishy. but, for those not old enough, a bowhunter in 1972, was attacked by a griz in the san juan mountains. he was able to kill the bear by hand sticking an arrow into it's heart and juggular while the bear was on top of him. the bear died. it was a wet sow, meaning cubs were somewhere. the guy was arrested in the hospital, but got off from the charges later on. his name was ed something.
