Was just wondering when most of you guys put your camo clothes on. Do you get dressed after you park your truck then get your clothes out of your scent free bag or leave from the house with them on. I personally get dressed at the truck boots clothes the whole shot until it gets to cold and then i lax off a little. Thanks wasp

Re: When do you put on your camoflauge?

If I have a short walk I change at my truck. If I have a long walk, like this mornings 45 minute hike, I change a couple hundred yards from my stand. I went in in a long sleeve T-shirt, and sweat pants. I put a towel in a gallon freezer bag, and bring an extra bag. I put all my camo in a scent-lok bag, and lash it to my backpack. When I get to where I'm gonna change, I strip down, dry off, put on all dry clothes, and put the towel, and the clothes I wore in the freezer bag, and put them in the scent-lok bag, and hide them somewhere to pick up on the way out.

Re: When do you put on your camoflauge?

I use to dress at the front gate. The outer wear and actual camo, boots etc..

I have since started at the house but out side. My camo does not go in the house at all from about a month to 2 weeks before the season and all threw the season. Unless I need an emergency dryer due to rain or whatever.

I cover my seats and fllor broads in plastic and leave the windows down on my 1 mile drive from the house to the front gate.

I have not seen any difference in deer contacts doing either way.

The convience of getting mostly dressed at home is worth it to me. I leave my jacket, gloves, face mask hood, hat harness, etc off until the gate reguardless of the weather.

Just the Lacross rubber boots and pants are all I am realy putting on early.
