Guest hookedonhunting
I sure hate to post this against any 11-87 but ive had mine since '03 and now it wont throw out heavy dove loads. it has been in duck swamps and stuff but has been kept clean mechanically. it shoots 2 3/4 and 3in loads. Could it be the gas seal? o-ring? Thanks guys !
timberghost
Re: need help with 1187 What length barrel? I would start out by checking the o-ring and also make sure that the gas port in the barrel is clean and open.

lil hunter
Re: need help with 1187 I've heard a lot of people say the O-rings are bad in those. That would be the first thing I would check.
longhorn57
Re: need help with 1187 check the o-ring and there are 2 holes under the barrel where the gas exits check and make sure they are clean

Guest Xen
Re: need help with 1187 check the gas ports, the o-ring and the metal rings, i'll bet one of them has a problem
AJ
Re: need help with 1187 Yep, I too would replace the O-rings. Since they are rubber, they do need replacing every so often. The better you maintain it the longer it will work problem free. Also I would not just go to the hardware store and get some el-cheapos that happen to fit. They will not last as long as a OEM part.
