Guest GCBORNHUNTER
I have a Winchester Model94AE .30-30 that I deer hunt with. What suggestions do you all have for a scope? I plan to mainly use the gun for deep woods stand hunting and deer drives. I've started shooting the Hornady LeverEvolution for more velocity and distance. I will be shooting the rifle up to 200 (may be 250 yards). What do you all recommend? I'm looking to spend below $250 and would like to stay below $200. I want something that will last for years after I put it on my rifle?
Guest chevyracin89s10
Re: Scope for .30-30 lever action it will trust me my dad has 1 that he had b4 i was born and its still on his 35 rem it almost 30 years old,,30-30 dont require much of a scope the have next to no recoil,,IMO,,so dont buy a scope that costs as much as the gun is worth,,,but you could check out sportsmansguide.com they have some with illuminated crosshairs,,,i bought a 6-24x50mm from them its on my 17hmr,,i love that scope
njbowhntr
Re: Scope for .30-30 lever action I use a Burris Short Mag 2x-7x. It runs about $230 for the scope. The light transfer on Burris is amazing. Plus it is pretty light weight.
