Homemade Target?

I just made a new target that I can shoot my bow at. I just don't know what else to put inside of it that will be enough stopping power. I have layers of cardboard in there, but would like to put something else. Anybody have any ideas for me?

Oh and we have some old phone books don't know if that is a good idea or not? confused.gif

Re: Homemade Target?

I sually get bored with shooting the same target over and over. So I'll take bubble wrap or shrink wrap or something and make a ball out of it. next just wrap it in several layers of duct tape, until its a little bigger than a softball. then just throw it out and shoot it with a judo, or blunt. Works great for varying your distances and last quite a while. For stationary targets we stuff potatoe sacks full of burlap, or more sacks. They seem to work great.Good luck!
