I have seen a lot of does running around, but not many bucks. Doesn't really surprise me, due to the thick, 10 year pines everywhere. Shot a 130" ten point, 130 lbs. There seems to be a pretty good buck to doe ratio around there. Saw more bucks than does in fact. A guy on our new leas had four bears within twenty yards of his stand yesterday evening. Can't wait to get up there and do some huntin. Im hunting Mayes, Cherokee, and Delaware counties north of you off of HWY 69. Im just getting out for the first time tonight. Ive been to busy to get out yet. My parents have been seeing some nice deer on our place. I have to try and close the deal during bow because once ML and Rifle slip in they disappear into the thousands of acres of surrounding timber and then its all does....
