Re: Camaro or truck

Depends on what you do. If you are going on gravel roads or through fields and hauling out a deer, the Camaro just won't cut it. If you are in an urban situation where you are on paved roads go with the Camaro.

Re: Camaro or truck

my first car was a camaro...i now own a silverado. go with a truck because its cheaper on insurance, more storage with the bed, and you dont have to worry about the wonderful wintery road conditions as bad. dont get me wrong, i loved my camaro but im a lot happier with my truck, escpecially during huntin season. besides its harder strapin a deer to the rear spoiler than just throwin it in the bed...lol

ditch the camaro and get a mustang. Or just get a truck, a FORD truck

Whatever you do, don't go with Ford! tongue.gif

I had to do the same thing when I was buying my first car last year. I had it down to three.

1. 2004 Silverado

2. 2001 Trans Am WS6

3. 2003 Cavalier

Insurance for the Trans Am would have been wayyy too high for me, still would be. Plus I'd hate to drive it in the winter, and I think the LS1 under the hood is a little too much for snowy roads, I'd be sideways more then going straight. grin.gif Gas prices are insane up here, so that counted the Silverado out. So I went with the Cavalier. It's great on gas, quick, sporty and it fits the budget to maintain. wink.gif

Re: Camaro or truck

you know, i had a better idea ... pimp out the camaro, get a lift kit and stuff, if its a classic camaro ... and make it an off-roadign vehicle so you can use it for hunting anyways!!!!

Re: Camaro or truck

DONT GET FORD IF YOU WANNA DO THE WORK ON IT!!!!!! theyre a pain in the rear end to do work on the engine, ford crams everythign in there so tight so you cant reach anythign on the engine ... chevy and dodge make things a lot easier to work on
