unioncountyslayer
Hey guys and gals. My dad is looking to buy some camo that is made for cold weather that is waterproof and scentproof with as little bulk as possible. Just curious what any of you use for these conditions. He looked into the Rivers West garments but is unsure if they are scent proof. Any suggestions would be of great help. Thanks, -union
wtnhunt
Re: Need some Help? Cabelas has some different lines that have scent lok linings. For here the weather does not get too cold. Have a super slam 3 in 1 dry plus parka with a thinsulate liner and bis, but it does not have any type of scent containing lining. The thinsulated liner zipped in keeps me pretty warm when it does get cold and the wind picks up. Have sat in the treestand in pretty frigid chills wearing it and managed to stay out without freezing. Would check the cabelas lines in the dry plus with thinsulate. johnf
Re: Need some Help? I've got something simular to wtnhunt's from Gander. Keeps me toasty and dry. I use cover scent and scent free soap, shampoo and deodarant and had deer downwind of me Saturday at 10 yards and they never knew I was there.
