buckee
Re: i don\'t get it? I wish my wife hunted. My hat is off to any and all ladies who hunt. Especially to the ladies who hunt by themselves or their husbands don't hunt. Guys who have a problem with female hunters, have a problem. AdvantageTimberLou
Re: i don\'t get it? I agree with Buckee on this one. Why is or should there be a problem with female hunters? My wife hunts with me when time allows and even golfs with me. To me my wife is my best friend as that should be the case for anyone married and to have her enjoy my hobbies makes our lives that much better! Jeramie
Re: i don\'t get it? I wish my wife hunted! That would be amazing. She would rather pull out her finger nails. She doesn't mind that i do and she eats the deer I bring in but she wouldn't be out there at sunrise for anything....
BuckNrut
Re: i don\'t get it? Maybe some guys just prefer to out with their buddys - a getaway of sorts. I don't see it as right or wrong. Personally, I hunt mostly "alone" so I could go either way if my spouse hunted.
Palssonater
Re: i don\'t get it? Well hunting is one thing that I have long since done with my buddies. Jenn has taken hunting up with the realization that we still need time apart and that I may want to go with them rather than her. The best part is that she just goes by herself or with her friend(the only other one that hunts). Its awesome. She sees the magic in it and realizes how there is a time to hunt together and a time to go seperate ways. I will do a lot more work to get to a "spot" than she will and she does not want to get cranky and ruin experiences for me. I thank her for respecting the boundaries. VermontHunter
Re: i don\'t get it? I would first of all like to point out I think the females that have posted here themselve's or by their boy friends and or husbands royally kicked our male butts this season so far and I'm loving it. Something about an independant woman that can hunt to boot well nothing to be said there..LOL. I just wish there were more women out there hunting. Nut
Re: i don\'t get it? I have had some opportunities with hunt with friends. But that would take time away from hunting with my wife and 3 sons and I will not lose that time. My wife hunts but she mainly is for our sons. But evetually when I get to hunt with here I am there for her and it also can be more fun if we get bored.

Do you want to know why not many women hunt, or why guys are scared of being independent, or are you wondering about poultry in the area???? johnf
Re: i don\'t get it? I wish my wife would hunt with me. She is very supportive of me hunting. She knows as a teacher there is a burning need to kill somethng. (just kidding) I think like most have said, she hates the cold and is a late morining person. I would like to take her out on some afternoon hunts to get her broken in. My 8 year old daughter is excited about me taking her. She's not quited ready yet. wtnhunt
Re: i don\'t get it? [ QUOTE ] ANY idea how hard it is finding a boyfriend that likes you hunting [/ QUOTE ] Would not think it would be all that hard, just got to find someone that shares your interests. My wife hunts. I got her interested a few years back and think she is hooked for good. She got her first buck this year, and she jumped right in to help me gut it and skin it. puffy
Re: i don\'t get it? Hey remhunter16! First you have to find a fella that likes to hunt more than he likes to chase girls, then you stand a better chance to get both a hunting buddy and boyfriend. At 15 it's much tougher to get both out of the same person. Keep your chin up!
James7xChamp3
Re: i don\'t get it? I wish my girlfriend hunted also. She goes scouting with me and really likes the DeerCam. She just can't get into the killing part. But she does support me as far as my hunting and even buys me "hunting gifts" so I am not complaining. It would just be nice to share the excitement of it together. It would also be nice to plan all our vacations all around hunting.......lol! VTbowman
Re: i don\'t get it? My wifes best friend, Jen, is an advid hunter and hunts with me all the time. As a matter of fact she is just getting ready to graduate form taxidermy school. (one in PA) and I now have a personal taxidermist who hunts my property!!! She has a VT state record for taking the largest buck with a bow, womens class, a few years back too. My wife wants nothing to do with hunting and hates it even more now since both her husband and her best friend are gone hunting the whole season. Steven
Re: i don\'t get it? I'm not used to women hunting, mainly for geographical reasons. I live in Atlanta and women here are too busy trying to change the image of the south, I have no problem at all with women hunting. None what so ever, in fact, when I lived in Kansas, I had a close friend who started off as a hunting buddy and turned into a girlfriend. All we had in common was hunting, but that was enough.
