removing your bow grips

i was wondering how to fully remove my grip from my bow.

i shoot a mathews SB and last night coming out of my stand, my rope broke and my bow fell about 10 feet to the ground. ive lokr it over real good and the only thing wrong is the grip is a little loose.

and also what do i put it back on with. some kind of adhesive im guessing. confused.gif

I believe Mathews uses a 2 side tape to put those suckers on. Press it firmly again and it may stick back together.

If not, try heating up the riser metal around the grip with a hair dryer to soften the tape glue and pry it off.

I would replace it with as close to the same 2 sided tape as you can find. 3M makes a lot of it and its pretty dang strong once stuck on.

well, the bow grip on my outback was easy, i was just practicing in the back yard about a year ago, and BAM..it popped off.....lol....no, im not sure of the "correct" way to take em off..
