Guest deerhunter82588
I keep all my hunting clothes in a old army foot locker box, that i have restoered. I also put in little cedar block along with various types of others bushes and tree's that i know i will be hunting around. and when i travel to where im hunting at are staying at the night before my hunt i keep them in to a scent proof bag that a bought a couple years ago. Does this sound like a good techniuqe to you all? is there others way's that you all do it that might interest me? i seen deer using this technique? never had a probally with them smellin me but i dont know how many deer have smelt me in just avoided me to where i never even saw then. i am just wanting to know is this a good technique? how do you all prepare for the deer season think you all for your opinions. there are greatly apperciated. wtnhunt
Re: scent conrol I use plastic totes lined with cedar limbs in the bottom of them. Cedars are scattered all over the property here, so it gives the clothes a good cover scent. Have thought about building a cedar chest. My mother had my fathers foot locker box for a long time, but dont think she has it anymore.
