Guest antlers21
I have always had a backpack quiver until last weekend I was leaning to see behind my right side and I moved my pack enough to make a noise that a beautiful buck heard and looked up at me and blew and was gone. I went out and bought a mathews one peice detachable quiver. My question is how many of you shoot with your quiver on? I shot my bow with it on and it still hits where I am aiming. bowtech
Re: quiver on or off??? i hunt with a quiver on .but the best thing to do is to get a samll quiver...this way you dont add much wieght to your bow.if in the tree you can always take it off and mount it to the tree if you feel that you would rather shot the bow without it
arrow32
Re: quiver on or off??? I like to take mine off while hunting. I dont practice with it on either just dont like it being on the bow.
tedicast
Re: quiver on or off??? I hang mine on a hook off to my right side, well out of the way of accidentally hitting it. I just prefer shooting without it on.
NY_Bowhunter14
Re: quiver on or off??? i keep mine off while hunting and practicing. over the years i have noticed that it creates to much vibration, and i dont want the deer to spook... nutz4bucks
Re: quiver on or off??? i always take my quiver off and hang it up on an limb or extra tree spike with a loose one ready for the follow up shoot....if needed??

jbeck
Re: quiver on or off??? Both, depends on if I hunting out of a stand or on the ground. I shoot with it both ways in practice.
Bowtech_archer07
Re: quiver on or off??? I usually hunt with the quiver on, but practice both ways, as you never know when you might get a shot. If a deer comes in before you get your quiver off or (and this is how I killed my first deer) you walk up on a deer on the way to your stand. It doesn't really matter as long as you can shoot accurately.

Guest Leadbuck
Re: quiver on or off??? I practice with it off and hunt the same way. I put a small string loop on the quiver and hang it on a small screw in hook. Back pack frist and quiver on top.

Jodyslilbro
Re: quiver on or off??? I hunt with my quiver off so I don't lean to the side and miss my target. But thats because I practice without a quiver. If you practice with your quiver on then you should keep your quiver on when hunting
