Re: Slugs for rifle barrels????

ive heard the lightfields shot really good out of the 870's i have the same gun has you have..gonna go try some lightfields through mine..

The Lightfield Hybred-Exp 2-3/4" works VERY WELL in rifled tubes because of the PATENTED sabot locking device that LIGHTFIELD is famous for

Re: Slugs for rifle barrels????

I've had success with Winchester Super X 2 3/4 in. sabots in my Mossberg. I have a buddy that shoots Remington Sabots out of his 870 and it shoots awesome. The fact of the matter is, you have to shoot different slugs to find out what is best in your gun. My dad and I both have the same gun, and at one point, he shot Remington's and I shot Winchester simply because of the groups that they shot out of the gun.

like said before you will have to try different slugs to find what shoots the best in your gun.

Yep! That's what you need to do. I went through 3 brands before I found the magic slug for my smooth bore.

The guys in my group have really good luck with Lightfields in their rifled barrels.
