Thought this was a great tip to pass along.

Silencing Velcro

As we all know, it’s nearly impossible to fasten and unfasten Velcro quietly, no matter how hard you try. My wife and fellow hunting partner for the past 15 years came up with the following idea last year and it really works. She removed the Velcro closures on our coveralls and gloves and replaced them with round quarter-sized magnets that she found at a local craft store. She simply cut a stitch or two at the seam where the Velcro had been, stuck one of the magnets into the hem, stitched it in place and then closed the hem! We now have happy (and quiet) hunting!

Re: Silencing Velcro

It's great but the magnets must be strong enough to hold up against material movement.

The magnets at the bottom of your plastic shower curtain are not strong enough. JFI
