buckbuster11
Re: This guy need put out to pasture If you watched the game and read his lips everytime he was throwing a fit on the sidelines...it was alot worse then what he said in his press conference. None of this should be a surprise to anybody, including the Cowboys. And it will get worse...

Guest Andrea
Re: This guy need put out to pasture This guy has serious issues. It should have been quite obvious that he is not a TEAM player. He wants it to be the T.O. Show. Don't see him lasting long on this team either..................... Maybe the Browns will take him. texastrophies
Re: This guy need put out to pasture How about a look from the other side. I think all of the Cowboy receivers should be saying the same thing. That was a pathetic show put on by the quarterback last week. I realize it isn't good for the team, but everything he was saying was true.

colts1888
Re: This guy need put out to pasture Not surprising, yes, there may be some truth to what he said, but you dont go public with it. Just look at his history, he has had problems with EVERY QB he has ever played with.
Tominator
Re: This guy need put out to pasture Seems to me he got a serious set of alligator arms on one pass when he heard footsteps, seems to me he dropped 2 other passes that hit him right in the hands. Media loves the guy because he'll never shut his mouth. I want to see him go toe to toe with The Fish. I want to see who ol' Jerry's gonna' back. If I was on this guys team (and as big as an NFL linebacker )...he wouldn't be running his mouth on the sideline, that's for sure. I just don't get way his teammates just don't put him in his place?? [/ QUOTE ] i gotta agree...i think he should be angry and like texastrophies said...the other recivers should to....bledsoe is horrible....he is at the bottom at nearly every QB stat they keep...27th in passer rating...29th in completion percentage, he has more INT's than TD's...yeah he should keep all of this stuff in the locker room...but either way...if he went off in the locker room i gaurantee it would have made it out to the media somehow. and we would still be talking about it. unfortunately because he is T.O. and with the past he has had...any type of criticizem(sp?) he has..even the smallest...makes him look bad. colts1888
Re: This guy need put out to pasture He was screaming at his coaches on the sidelines, much like he screamed at Mcnabb on the sidelines. The guy isnt a good teammate, it's really that simple. Nobody forced him to sign with the Cowboys, he knew who the QB and coach were and i didnt see too many teams breaking down his door to sign him to begin with. If he wanted to get the ball and be involved more maybe he should have just kept his mouth shut when he was in Philly? He's a punk, how many times do you hear someone like Marvin Harrison cry when he only gets 3 catches?? It's incredible the amount of attention this guy gets and you have a class act out there like Harrison breaking records nearly every game this season and you hardly ever hear a peep about him. Sad. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Re: This guy need put out to pasture [ QUOTE ] He never directly criticized quarterback Drew Bledsoe or coach Bill Parcells, the playbook or the play calling. In fact, T.O. had few specific complaints -- just the general one about not getting the ball enough. [/ QUOTE ] this is from the link that was posted....i see nothing wrong with him wanting the ball more...i GUARANTEE...that if this were any other player in the league..we wouldn't be talking about it...but it's T.O. this guy is one of the best in the league at his postion..and his team is 2-2...l don't blame him...this isn't just some "nobody" thinkin he should get the ball...i like that "give me the ball" attitude", yeah he could have went about it differently, but oh well, its the media that blows this stuff up...they are the ones that get him goin with the questions..,this is just a guy who wants to win...it could be worse...he could be one of those players who goes and gets himself arrested every year...gets suspended for steroids or other substance abuse....the guy wants more chances to help his team win...whats wrong with that?? and as for marvin harrison...his career numbers aren't much better than T.O.'s numbers....they would be pretty close to the same if T.O. hadn't played in only 7 games last year...and as for "no one forced him to sign with the cowboys" and "he knew who the QB and coach were" well..it works both ways..they knew who they were getting when they made the offer... SuperMn106
Re: This guy need put out to pasture I dont see nothing wrong with it. The guy thinks he can help his team by gettin the ball more and i agree with him. Bledsoe was terrible. I believe most people do not like him because he speaks the truth. Whenever a reporter asks him something he does not shy away from it.

[/ QUOTE ] Marvin Harrison has played in just 13 more games then Owens and has 230 more receptions and has over 2000 more receiving yards. He is also currently 4th in career recptions after moving past Andre Reed and should pass Art Monk and Irving Fryar this year in career yards. He needs 50 catches to join Rice/Carter and Brown for 1000 career catches. This guy isnt even close to hanging them up. Owens isnt in the same zip code and never will be. In order to get close to Marvin, he would have needed to average around 15 catches and 156 yards a game in those 13 he missed. And whos fault is it that he missed those games last year anyway? The link above may not take a jab at Bledsoe, but what about Owens saying "who's the one pulling the trigger" to reporters after the game? That sounds like a public shot at Bledsoe to me. Like I said, he has never once had a QB that he liked, EVER. There isnt a QB anywhere in this league that would be good enough for TO. The first time he only gets 3 balls he would blow up, regardless of who it is. And you are right, the Cowboys are the ones who decided to sign him, and i have said several time on here it was the dumbest thing in the world to do. I even said Parcells should just retire before the season ever began. He didnt want this clown on his team, Jerry Jones did. Owens had a good QB in Philly, and he ruined that, so he should be thankful that some fool was dumb enough to sign him in the first place and shut his mouth. There is no excuse to act that way in front of the entire country. No excuse to whine every time it doesn't go your way. I can't believe some of you are standing up for this guy. Yeah, OK Bledsoe sucks, but thats all he's got right now. Suck it up and drive on! Whining isn't gonna make it better! Should they go to the local highschool and pick up a QB? Give me a break I cannot stand this guy. He could have it all with that talent. Everybody would be wearing his gear, kids would worship him, anybody that sells anything would put him on tv, but he's so dang stupid he just CANNOT STFUP. But like they say, theres a silver lining to evry cloud. This is the cowboys we're talking about now and that makes me very happy indeed!
