I've been waiting all year for this weekend,lol. kind of nervous as we are hunting new land about 1 hour south of us. I'm hoping to see something nadh ave a shot/ not going ot get my hopes up. I will be in a ladder stand stuck in a white acorn tree in the corner of an overgrown field and a spruce plantation with old bulldozer trails running through. We were up there last weekend - deer tracks all over everywhere! No small tracks either. Andy and the neighbor have seen 2 big bucks on this property so I guess we'll wait and see. Both of them think I'm going ot have a shot at a big buck but we'll see about that to,lol. Anyone in NY been seeing how the deer are moving with this cold? I haven't been out on the land by our house to look.
