Chrud
I thought Milwaukee was a little better without him.
Tominator
Re: richie sexton i don't know, but i'll nomininate him as having the ugliest swing in the major leagues. i guess at 6'10" and a right hander is tough to look pretty. Chrud
Re: richie sexton You got that right Chris! Looks like he's real uncomfortable when he swings. It sure isn't the nice high leg kick golf swing like Geoff Jenkins.
DSGB
Re: richie sexton His swing looks almost as good as Charles Barkley's golf swing. I watched him play a few years when he was here playing for one of Cleveland's farm teams, the Redstixx. LOL He's got some power, but he's no Tony Gwynn. Hillbilly
Re: richie sexton He costs a lot of money, and is a injury waiting to happen, had him on my fantasy baseball team two years in a row. Lost him both years to injuries....
MCH
Re: richie sexton Prettiest swing in the majors---tie between Junior and Shawn Green.. How about a new category--ugliest stance in the majors---hands down, Craig Counsel. As for Sexton, I hope the Dodgers don't land him. I'd rather have Delgado. [/ QUOTE ] that's not even a contest MCH--what the F is Counsel doing? i don't understand it. it's comical and aggravating all at the same time. i hate the word retard, but man, he looks like a retard. close second to him would have to be Julio Franco--what's he going to be this year? 85 or so? Hillbilly
Re: richie sexton Scott Rolen hands down has the best swing, I mean no one would have noticed in the World Series. My opinion is that he is also the best 3rd basemen to play the game. He'd take a ball to the teeth just to stop it and to make a play. He signed his first big league contract when I was a year old!

[/ QUOTE ] i remember Julio when he played in Cleveland Municipal Stadium--that's the stadium that's now at the bottom of Lake Erie, not The Jake. if i'm not mistaken, i saw him play when i was in high school. i graduated in 1982, so that's an attest to his longevity. and, if i'm not mistaken, he's one of those poor latin american guys that grew up dirt poor and they really don't know how old he is. don't know if that's true or not, but that was always the joke when he played here in Cleveland.
