Re: Pitchfork down!!!!

Thanks everyone, for all the replys and congrats, I really do appreciate it.

As for the score, I am with you all, I thought it would go higher, but the tape doesn't lie. I am confident we scored him right, but I will have the taxidermist put the tape on him to see for sure. It is just a number anyway, I am happy with him and he will look good on the wall.

I am not sure if I will be able to get the video on here, but I will try. It is not a digital camcorder, but I have a cousin that is good at putting videos together and figuring that stuff out. He might be able to get it on here. If I do, then I will share it with you all. The footage isn't all that great b/c of the low light situation. There was only a couple minutes of legal shooting light left, so it made for poor quality. It was a neat experience anyhow.

I am living in McAlester right now, but I shot him just West of OKC near a small town, Calumet. That is where I grew up and my grandpa has a farm out there on the North Canadian River. I have been hunting a little bit of public land down around McAlsester, but with little luck.

Thanks again everyone!!

Re: Pitchfork down!!!! (Rescore...still short!!)

Taxidermist called me today and said he scored him and got 128 4/8" gross and 124 6/8" net. Man, I can't believe it. I can't catch a break, 1/4 inch short of P&Y. Oh well, like I said earlier, I am very happy with him and that score is just a number.
