NiteRunner
I seen in a Dick's Ad, they had 15-foot Ladder stands $50. I constantly see these in there and Gander Mt. Anyone Use them? Like are they any good, do you like them? THanks! Laura

Hoosierbuck
Re: Ladder Stands I have a pile of these, and while I am a bigger guy, I find them totally functional. No frills or anything, but they work and let me put stands all over rather than having one really nice, comfy one that I am locked in to. Guest lostiniowa
Re: Ladder Stands exactly what hoosier said.. allows me/you to have many stands for the price tag of a really nice/expensive one..
wtnhunt
Re: Ladder Stands Dont know that I could build a stand for $50 with steel prices. That is pretty cheap.
ThethirdI
Re: Ladder Stands I used one last week that belonged to a friend and while there are no frills for sure it still is very functional. I would take my own cushion for it though if you plan to sit for any length of time.

Hoyt03
Re: Ladder Stands I have a bigger buddy here at work who went to get the one on sale for 50 and ended up getting a bigger model for 89 b/c he said it would have suited him. I think for the price I may be getting me a few of them. By the way did you see the 16 ft climbing sticks on sale for 25$ a few weeks ago. Picked up 2 more sets for future stands. AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Ladder Stands I'll have to check them out, I know at the end of the season you can get some nice ones with arms and a shooting rest for $60 to $70.00 and the arms and shooting rest are nice to have. For $50.00, William is right, you can't build one for that price with today's steel prices!!

BEEF
Re: Ladder Stands Im a big guy my self , I do believe a good climber is the best way to hunt many locations the first time and so on but they are hard to pack and real hard to climb for a fat guy like me. So two years ago i bought my first ladder stand and loved it. I have five of them now in the price range of 49 to 100 dollars . I just bought a new one yesterday and put it up today . It is a 17 footer and its just as solid as the 15 footers . Cant wait for the all day hunts in november here in illinois
