JimT
Re: how bout them pats I would like to see them win it again, but they have a tougher field to get thru this year for sure....
James7xChamp3
Re: how bout them pats Oh yeah! The Pats are the definition of TEAM. They also have one of the greatest, smartest coaches ever. Not worried about the Steelers, but them Colts are looking pretty nasty. The Pats have had their number, but odds are they are going to win one sometime. We'll see. It will get intense and fun. Us New Englanders have waited a long time for these last few years. First the Pats and now the Red Sox. It was worth the wait!

mainebuck
Re: how bout them pats I know two people who haven't forgotten buckbuster, that's Corey Dillon and Ty Law. You owe that week 8 victory to those two injuries. Just remember the last time the Pats and Steelers met in the playoffs for the AFC title in 2001, remember that game? That's right, the Steelers lost. Maybe they should get Kordell back on their roster for their playoff run...
James7xChamp3
Re: how bout them pats When is the last time the Pats (under Bellichek) were beaten twice by the same time? Not saying it can't happen, but very unlikely. Steelers are a good team, but they didn't look stellar to me in that week 8 game. Like Mainebuck said, Pats injuries played the biggest part of that loss. It'll be tough to have to play them in Pittsburgh, but every football fan knows the Pats can certainly do it. They are proven big game winners. This Steeler team is not.
buckbuster11
Re: how bout them pats Points taken fellers but the Steelers had their own injuries including a starting nose tackle and corner, safety and a rookie QB that was supposed to fall apart. Didnt happen. Roethlisberger was 9 for 9 I believe before Law went out of the game. No doubt Dillion and Law were huge injuries for the Pats but I dont know how much Dillion would have got a chance to effect the game. The Pats normally spread the Steelers out and pass up and down the field, thats the weakness on the Steelers and the Pats know it because they were the first to exploit it in the 2001 championship game and the 2002 opener. Also, the Steelers were up by almost 3 td's starting the second quarter. I'm not sure the Pats would have been using Dillion a whole bunch in that situation either. And because the Steelers were running to the tune of 40+ carries I'm not sure Law would have had a chance to make a huge impact either. With all that said, I know what the chances are of beating them twice in the same season. Not good. Definately a team I dont want to see again.
