Newarcher
Some famous quotes from Neville Chamberlain: (Chamberlain holds the paper containing the resolution to commit to peaceful methods signed by both Hitler and himself on his return from Germany at Heston Airport in September 1938). He said: My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honour. I believe it is peace for our time. And my favorite: "How horrible, fantastic it is that we should be digging trenches and trying on gas-masks here because of a quarrel in a far away country between people of whom we know nothing. I am myself a man of peace from the depths of my soul." Kind of sounds like Jimmy Carter and many of our modern day Democrats.....scary New
Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Classic Neville Chamberlain (Churchill inspire Didn't Chamberlain agree to trade Poland (or was it Austria?) to the Nazi's for "Peace in our time"? If we end up with a Democratically controlled Congress and a Democrat in the Whitehouse, will we trade Iraq to the Jihadists for "Peace in our time"?
