AdvantageTimberLou Posted October 19, 2006 Report Share Posted October 19, 2006 I was sitting in my treestand last night and a leaf fell off and onto my lap, the leaf was the indentical color to one on my Realtree Hardwoods pants. (yes I know I should be wearing AdvantageTimber per my screen name ) That leaf that fell off the tree was indentical to the one in my pants. Right down to the slight color change and the small vein like roots that make up a leaf. The realism is unreal! Gotta love Realtree camo pattern designs and their attention to detail!! Like the commercial says, "and if you wear Realtree Hardwoods camo, your going to disappear" That is so true!!! How much real can it get, Bill Jordan has captured Mother Nature in his patterns!! Look at the old Realtree patterns, todays are FAR superior. Im sure a lot of money went into research and development but IMHO, its worth every penny. RT does have amazing patterns..... I am surprised no one has come out with a pattern that has the different color leaves in it. RIght now all the leaves are changing around Indiana. I was hanging a stand with my brother and I had my hardwoods camo on. I climbed in the stand and my brother commented that the camo made me disappear in the tree. Went hunting with my friend yesterday and when he put his hardwooods camo on he disappeared. I had deer look at me last night and seemed to look right on by, it blends in so well its unbelieveable so when that leaf fell in my lap and there happened to be just like in printed on my pants, I knew right there that this camo was great!! LOL....Suck Up Your right though...Should have been wearing the Advantage Timber...That stuff works great around here right now. 7 Deer within 43yds of me last night and they each looked my way a couple times and never knew I was there I turned an old pair of Advantage Timber Coveralls into a 3-D suit by adding just a few Sneaky Leaf's to the legs and arms. Still prefer advantage timber here Lou, just wish my parka had been available in that pattern when I got it. Camo of today is definitely better than it was 20 years ago.
