wtnhunt
Re: the can Mixed results here. Early season is a good doe curiousity call. Around the rut, has not worked for me like the grunt call.

RangerClay
Re: the can [ QUOTE ] got any good stories? [/ QUOTE ] Try this for something a little different. When things are a little slow, tip your head way back and blow softly through the little hole in the bottom. Doing this can add inflection to your can call. nhbowhunter
Re: the can I have used the can with tremendous success throughtout the hunting season. I gave one to a friend of mine as a gift last year who was skeptical. The very next day he called me say "WOW! This thing really works!" He called 4 deer to his stand within 2 hours. It is not a silver bullet but I have found the can to be extremely prodcutive ESPECIALLY in prerut conditions.
10acboy
Re: the can I have called in several does with the can and last year I called my biggest buck in with it. This 9 pointer was walking a ridge away from me and I grunted -nothing. I tickled my rattle bag -nothing. I hit the can 3 times and he stopped, turned and came right to me. I am a believer. 3whunt
Re: the can i called in a younger seven point with it.... it was the first week of november... most deer that hear it seem to react to it... though not much better than a grunt... Jeramie
Re: the can It must depend on your location. Ive called in SEVERAL deer with it. Especially during the rut. I had two does that just kept comming back to me even though they could clearly see me. I will ALWAYS carry one with me.
Bowtech_archer07
Re: the can I have called in both does and bucks. 2 years ago I had a doe come out of the timber about 45 yds away and called her into 25 or 30. I have also used it in combination w/ the TrueTalker and called in a few bucks, one of which came an amazing 10 yds from me and I was on the ground!!!. That was a little scary! Jeramie
Re: the can Sounds like its letting the air come out to fast. Im guessing you dont have a tight seal around your diaphram. If it doesnt fall all the way youve more then likely gotten some pocket junk down in the call.
johnf
Re: the can It falls really fast, but I've got the hole covered good. I think either the diaphram is warn or it's got an air leak somewhere. I've only had it for 2 years and have only used it probibly 10 times, so I can't see how it could be worn out. I guess I could wrap it tight in duck tape.

TKLambert
Re: the can Called up a good shooter with it, the only problem was he was on the hunt for her and as quick as he stepped in he stepped out. Tried callin him back but never saw him.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that said not to shake the call, possbile it may be damaged inside, or you may just have a defective call. Reason I ask about the kids, my kids have played with my calls and when they were younger, they did sometimes want to shake the can call to get it to make sounds. need2hunt
Re: the can I've killed more deer with that call than any other call i've used. I've taken does, small and big bucks with it. I usually have 2 with me in case I lose one of them. Johnf - Primos has a lifetime guarantee on all there calls, contact them and they will take care of you. AdvantageTimberLou
Re: the can I used it with my buddy, we were getting a gun tower ready for gun season, I called in a small spikehorn buck to within 7 yards of me. I would turn the can over behind my back, he could not see that movement and keep coming closer and closer. He was super curious. Called him from over 100 yards away. It was awesome and made us believers of the can and its ability! Never go hunting now without one in my fanny pack!!

I have one the Bleat-In-Heat from Quaker Boy for over 15 years now. I put my Primos cans in Zip lock also. Don,t even need to take them out to make the call in the woods. I had pine needles etc: get in and ruin the calls before i did this. It solved the problem.
