Last night had 10 come in so decided to take a good sized one. 12 yard shot, lol with the TC Omega (I was in a bowhunting tree). She ran like nothing was up, so I actually thought I may have missed. Did not find any blood until 50 yards into the tracking, and she was not much farther. I almost gave up before I found blood but just could not believe I would miss at that distance. Lesson: if you dont find blood at first you owe it to the animal to keep looking. This is the only doe I will be taking this year, hunting horns for the rest of the season.
