Bowman
Does anyone or has anyone shoot the Quick Spin Vanes? I have been looking at them because right now i shoot Feathers and when they get wet they don't shoot well. I have been wanting to have Vanes to shoot when the Weather is wet but i don't know witch ones to shoot. If I can get some input on the Vanes deal it would be most helpful. Good Luck in the New Season and Hunt Safe!!!!!!!!
LifeNRA
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! If your using a Whisker Biscuit rest dont use Quick Spins. One it will rob you of speed, two, the Quick Spins will tear your rest up! If you do have a WB rest, try the Bohning 2" Blazers. I love these vanes. But if your not up for the smaller vanes, then try the Bohning 4" Killer vanes. Here are mine with wraps.
preacherman
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! I shot quick spins last year with an old tm hunter style rest and loved them. had better groupings. switched to a whisker buscuit and also switched to blazers. Leo
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! I'm a big fan of NAP products. They are quality and well thought out. I know their products work. But IMO the Blazers are absolutely tops for vanes. Very quiet, glue on well and don't wrinkle easily. I don't shoot mine thru a biscuit but my friend does and he loves them. If you want the ultimate in toughness for a whisker biscuit check out Turbo Nocks
Bownarow
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! I shoot feathers, and I spray them down with the "No Snow" that they make for the Whisker Biscuit. They still stand up and shoot just fine in the rain. I haven't shot the Blazers, but have heard nothing but good things about them. If I ever switch back to vanes, I'll go with the Blazers. Guest nebraska_justin
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! i shoot quick spins through a biscuit and they shoot awsome. They do tend to wrinkle but i just dip them into a pot of boiling water and they straighten out. I tried blazers but i had trouble getting them to stick well.........just my $.02 GOOD LUCK
Griz
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! I'm shooting 4" Quick Spins with a Shakey Trophy Taker. Couldn't ask for a better set up and they work great...

Guest Deepwoods1
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! I have not tried the Quick Spins, but I do shoot Blazers, and the Buscuit. You cant beat that combo!!
Jeramie
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! Never shot the quick spins. There are TONS of vanes out there that are tough. If you want to try just a good all around vane that is tough as nails try the Bohning (blazers or 4"). Awesome, heavy vanes for the money. Those things are way tough! bowtech
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! i shoot the quick spins out of a drop away rest and love them .they ten to be a bit louder in the air than regular vanes but i did see a small impact in my grouping .exspecially with broadheads
MCH
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! I switched to quickspins this year for competition and noticed a remarkable change in grouping. I'm really sold on 'em. Using them for hunting but haven't had a chance to try them out yet.
Brianxt
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! I shoot them with a fall away rest they group great even out to 50 yds with 4 blade broad head.
Pinwheel5
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! I used the Blazers for a year and had no trouble out of them. But, all they claim is to fly as well as a 4" vane with broadheads. That is where I love the quickspins. They really make broadheads fly well. I can shoot Muzzy, G5 Montecs, and the G5 B52 and they all hit the same as my field points out to 40 yards.
GWSmith
Re: Quick Spin Vanes!! Bowman, I'm not knocking(no pun intended) Quick Spin Vanes...I know alot of people who are very happy with their performance. I just shoot Feathers all the time..I simply spray my feathers with Meltonian silicone spray(that is actually for boots or leather), work it in good with my fingers, and let them dry. Bought 2 cans of this stuff at a dollar store for $1 each:
