slb9981
Just before dark I have trouble seeing through my peep sight. I can see the deer fine but when I try to look through the peep sight I can't see anything beyond the pin. I tried a light with not much luck. Is it the peep sight or just me? I thought I might need one with a bigger opening but I have always liked the small ones. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!
dogdoc
Re: Suggestions to improve shooting at dusk bigger opening! I like the biggest opening peep I can use. If you're shooting competition then a small hole is good but for hunting you need the bigger hole. todd

I dont have any problem seeing through the peep in low light conditions. The size I have allows me to "House" or surround the inside of the sight pin gaurd perfectly. With a strip of white reflective wrap that I have cut and stuck to the rear of the sight housing(circular around the outside) it also gives me a real quick refference on my anchor point and sight alignment. If I see it I've overdrawn my anchor point because my eye is too close to the peep. I may also be torqueing the bow with my grip. Practicing enough with this system adjustments happen quickly if I'm out of shape in anyway.
